About Me

I am currently an associate professor of Electrical Engineering at Western Washington University. I received my B.S. (highest honors), M.S., and Ph.D., in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Starting in middle school, I discovered the joy and satisfaction of tutoring students in math and physics; I lived for the satisfaction of seeing them finally able to understand the material.

During high school, I tutored students in various math courses for 3 hours a week, all on a voluntary basis. At the national level, I have reached the AIME competition, and I received scores of 36 and 800 on the math sections of the ACT and SAT, respectively. I am able to tutor all levels of math and physics.

Since moving to the Pacific Northwest, I have tutored at the Mathnasium in Mill Creek and at C2 Education in Redmond. Currently, I am spending most of my time in Bellingham with my family and would love to work with motivated students here in town. I hope to help them discover and appreciate the beauty of math and physics. Additionally, I hope that my work can help them enter the college of their dreams.
